Ladies Day at Naas Racecourse

Last Sunday Aoife Harrison and I went to our first Ladies Day event at Naas Racecourse.

As it was our first Ladies day event (Imagine!!) we were slightly nervous as to what to expect but it turned out to be a great day. We met lots of other lovely ladies dressed in some fabulous outfits and sporting some beautiful hats.

Judges on the day included Barbara Power and Glenda Gilson.

The winner of Best Dressed Lady went to – Hannah Crosse – who won herself a beautiful watch worth €2500! Lucky thing!

We didn’t make the final 5 ourselves but our good friend and fellow milliner from Cork, Tina Hemlock, did and boy did she deserve it! Her hat was of course made by herself and she wore a beautiful camel Ted Baker coat.

One of Aoife’s hats did make the final 5 also, worn by Liz Maher, which we were delighted about!

Not bad for our first Ladies Day!

Our New Year’s resolution is to go to as many Ladies Day events as possible this year – so if you see us around – be sure to pop over and say hello!

Next stop Leopardstown on February 12th!
